BLASTING WALLS
Check your boys are carrying demos (circled left), then click 'Blast' (circled right), and lay the blast point on the other side of the wall-

Start the turn and 15 secs later (note clock lower right) it blows. Nobody was injured, they must be immune-

Then they auto get up and run through the gap and go prone-

Place the blast waypoint anywhere in the building-

Start the turn and after about half a minute it blows. As usual the blast causes them no injuries-

and about 30 secs later, boom-

And they run through.

RE: CMBN general notes and observations
Have you had any problems taking screen shots? I've taken hundreds in CMx1, but when I hit "Print Screen" in CMx2 and then go to paste it into Paint, what the Print Screen has captured is my computer desktop, not CMx2.

RE: CMBN general notes and observations
i'm Win XP and the printscreen key works fine.
If you're Win 7 it can cause problems, there's a thread about it here-

Hmmmm still no good, I didn't get my desktop this time. I got a solid black screen of death instead.

I'll keep looking on the Microsoft boards for a fix.

I've been using the free version Frabs for screenshots and videos in CMx2.

I've got geeky mates who'd probably know the fix but first can you confirm it's Win 7 you're talking about so i can ask them?
Meanwhile try free Fraps like Westland suggested, I don't like Fraps myself because the free version only takes BMP screenshots and their resolution is usually not as good as GIF or PNG which I prefer.

RE: CMBN general notes and observations
Yep - Windows 7.

It takes screen shots normally in CMx1.

Thanks for whatever you can find out.

Yeah some systems like Fraps so it's worth trying.
Meanwhile I just got this reply from a geeky pal about Win 7 and the Printscreen key-
"Seems to be a recurring complaint with print screen and some games. This started to be more of an issue after Vista and continues for many through Win 7. For some using the CTRL key + Print Screen works. It seems to be game dependent and doesn't always work. This is one reason many newer games are bundled with screen capture applications for use within the game."
