Thanks M8... but won't you need to know what type of card plug in I have first?

Where can I find that? It says something about a PCI bus 1 or something.

you gotta open the case and use that 2nd link to determine the card type by looking at the slot it is in or the card itself

The best slot to use is a PCiE slot, if you have one, then AGP, then lastly PCi (which is a good reason to buy new PC if this is all you have, so not waste any money on the old beast)

If you dont have an AGP slot you wont have a computer that can run this game. AGP slots have been standard since 2000. I mean I dont think anyone will have PCI. So its between AGP and the newer PCiE.

It has an AGP 4x slot which is an older 1.5v type system. You're going to be very limited in the video card choices unfortunately, as most are AGP 8x cards these days. Also any card you find to work, will be a very low end unit and not worth investing in, to be all honest with you. :(

Based on that info, the spare Fx5200 card I have wouldn't even work as there would be voltage issues.

It's time to cut back on soda and chips M8 and get a new Dell!
