A Really good day for Full Auto

Today was my lucky day!
I just happened to bring in the paper this morning and I see there is a restored B-17G at our local airport. They were selling rides of 35 minutes in the plane which was called Aluminum Overcast. The rides were $425.00 which was too steep for my budget. But I took some great photos and I watched them start up the old gal and then taxi out and take off. It was pretty awesome seeing those 4 Pratt and Whitney engines fire up. The website for the plane is b17.org. I will post some photos later when I get them off the camera. I just had to share a unexpected cool moment on a nondescript Tuesday morning.

The "Alluminum Overcast" is the exact plane that I flew in last month.
