Turn 3

German infantry move out to get LOS onto the oncoming Soviet hoard and quickly become assimilated by the Borg(scht). A panzergrenadier unit is opfired upon and in the Soviet turn, a German engineer platoon is bumped, shot to pieces, and then retreats into the same forested hex of the first panzergrenadier unit. The Germans get some lucky faust shots on an armoured car that attempts to get behind the German units for a capture or to help direct a retreat back towards the main force.

Tank fire blasts the panzergrenadiers to dust and reduce them 5 more SP's to eliminate them, while the broken engineers retreat down the forest road and into the waiting arms of american M4 tanks with highly aggressive Soviet drivers and gunners. The German engineers are captured and destroyed.

Smoke blocks the site of other Soviet advances across the front...
