Writing from work; my utility service has been compromised by flood/storms...wreaking havoc actually...road to my house is closed off -have to take a crazy detour to get to work...electricity is intermitent and internet connect hasn't been possible in last 24 hours. Not a good time to live at the base of a hill! Please be patient.
That item on the clothes line, was it out there to be washed (conserving water) or are you optimistic that the sun will return. It will be awhile before the 40 days are over, Noah.
Having gone up here in New England through two recent bouts of flooding (last October and again in May), my sympathy goes out to all of you guys in the MidAtlantic. They are still straightening out a lot of the washed out roads up here.
best wishes....we had also a lot of problems(last year) with the floods big tam-tam....political isues....while in Portugal didn't rained a whole season at us in Romania...rained cats and dogs...3 days I walked with the umbrella over my head(my hand was so borred) and in a lots of areas we changed cars with boats....though that will go to work with titanic....:(...
