custom scenarios ???

custom scenarios ???
I just wonder if there is any particular reason we get ZERO scenarios for PBEM playtesting in renewed testing section over here in Blitz.
I know as a fact many players from this ladder make their own scenarios or at least try to learn how to do them.
Now, do you all make solitaire scens only or there is any other reason you dont see the need to test them ?

If there is some kind of a problem I will try to solve it.

Is there any need e.g. to form 'scenario development support team', sort like Weasel's mentor program ?

Anything else ?

ANY ideas ?

We definetely need good, balanced PBEM scenarios.

Do you want/need me to convince Blitz staff to do something about it ? I dont know what it could be, but if it is reasonable I can promise to do my best and talk to whoever, would it be ladder custodian, site commander, other sites moderators, game designers, scenario designers, to make it happen.
Just tell me why other ladders can have new scens coming in, and we cant.

cheers

I would appreciate if you could get me couple of extra hours a day. Building scens for testing is on my To Do list but I need more time to actually get to it.

Next time you hear somone talking about saving time, make them an offer for the time they have saved up. Just don't be greedy, there are others out here that could use a little extra time too.

I always thought purchasing the forces was half the fun. Big Grin

Besides, do people really want to play PBEM scenarios...?

RE: custom scenarios ???
There is a scenario or more reported every week so yes, people do play PBEM scenarios.

RE: custom scenarios ???
I have made lots of maps based on historical locations but i balk at scenarios useally due to not having enough info to make a realistic OOB and also not having much experience at doing Scenarios.

But if someone can recomend something or give me some help, I would definately like to make some.

for example I have made maps for

Dunkirk (battling around the town itself)
Trondheim (early war in Norway based on airial maps)
Prokrovka (the extra big map used in the AAR I posted about my battle with Jad)
Several for Holland and Begium (dykes, streams, hedges, small towns, close quarters)

and many more including an unfinished one for the Berlin Reichstag.

all of which would be great to be made into Scenarios.

ReichStag My Favorite. I may be able to get a list units that were in the area. I know for a fact my beloved Nordland Div / Norge Regt. was there in the Reichstag as well as Fallsch units, Hitler youth and Flak units, it was really a mixed bag of troops. It was a 16 hour battle for the building itself if I remeber correctly..... Hand to hand and Room to Room. Very Vicious:boom3::smg::boom2::boom1:50cal
