Armor tactics question
Will giving an armor arc (V) to a tank prevent it from firing at HT's and cause it to concentrate on enemy tanks?

RE: Armor tactics question
Acording to the CMBB manual, page 94 etc. :trucks and jeeps and very light armored cars, just to name a few examples, are NOT considered "armored vehicles" for the purpose of coveredarc, and are not regarded as valid targets for a unit with an active Cover Armor command."

RE: Armor tactics question
The tank will fire at anything with armor - including halftracks...

RE: Armor tactics question
As a new convert, can armour fire AP at other armour and HE at infantry or non armoured units?

RE: Armor tactics question
Yes, sure can and will. Each unit will have a specific number of AP and HE rounds....assuming the gun in question had both types in reality.

RE: Armor tactics question
One thing that is unrealistic, is that the game doesnt track which type of ammo is actually "loaded". It finds a target and fires, and at the time of fire decides which type of ammo it should have loaded.

Not really a big deal, but it is more pronounced with slow firing HE chuckers who mysteriously have a HC round in the barrel.
