Thanks for all the input guys. Antoni got me hooked up with Gmail and I like it a lot so far. I especially like that it supports both send and receive through Outlook Express (POP and SMTP). Nice feature.

My plan is to keep this as a PBEM account only and hopefully that keeps the bulk of the SPAM away.

Im making the gradual switch over to gmail and received a couple of pbem turns today. Most were fine but I got one through from Guido which wasnt an attachment... it was just the info in the body of the email... any ideas how to rectify this??

Thats what I figured. Id prefer to get it as a non zipped attachment for ease of use and the others are coming through just fine unzipped. Trial and error I guess.... I'll sort something out and if totally stuck will have to make do with zipped files.

I've noticed that certain email services seem to display
the text in the body of the email like that.It's probably
related to the senders client or service.
