Anyone know if a HQ's supply range is increased if stacked with a lower level leader from that HQ's chain of command or does it have to be the HQ commander?

It is my understanding that any leader, stacked with any HQ, extends the range of that HQ's supply affect by the number of hexes equal to the strength of the Leader.

Can you point me to the reference in the manual that discusses a Leader's ability to extend an HQ's Supply Range?

Many thanks guys. I have a leader who has lost all his subordinate units - I was going to stack him with the HQ and use his battalion commander elswhere. Now I will just take him off the map.
