The Golden Bears start the week ranked #10 in the AP. They go on the road and get a win (21-3), holding a very explosive Washington State offense to 88 yards rushing (with 70 of those yards coming on one play). Then the Bears drop a spot to #11? Go figure.

How high in the BCS ranking does a team need to be to ensure a BCS bowl. Is being ranked in the top 8 necessary?
