I actually bought my WinZip along time ago. The nice thing about buying it is that you only buy it once ever. The registration code that you get works for all future versions as well. It has been well worth what I paid for it.

Why people would pay for software is beyond me :) And,no,i'm not saying you should get the software you're using from warez sites :smoke:
It's just that for pretty much every program a regular windows user uses there is a free alternative.You want an antivirus?Use AVG.A firewall?No problem.Zone alarm does the trick.A cd/dvd burner?Deepburner is the answer!
It's true,not all of them have all the pretty options a payed software has.But the regular user won't need those fancy options in the first place.I for one have exactly 2 registered softwares right now.And i use them both for my work
