For those of you who are not here for long time you might not know that Walrus is VERY valuable source of info about winMBT and especially newest patch. He (plus couple of more Blitzers) was working on it as a member of CAMO betatest team, so shoot your questions at him (shall you have any).
Well done Jason, again.
Thanx for hard work.

Cheers lads
It has been a pleasure to help Don and Andy get this out. The part I played was very small and easy really.
Also I get to play the new version before anyone else ha ha!!
The team at CAMO are incredible and the detail and discipline are above and beyond.
We are VERY lucky as gamers to have this level of support...and mostly for free!!
I seriously suggest buying the CD versions...not just for all the wicked extras (op fire filtering alone is worth the money) but to support these hard working chaps who have been making these game better for us for near ten years now.
THAT is dedication and should be rewarded IMHO.
Enjoy the newest version of MBT and look forward to the new patch for WW2 which should appear very soon.
Cheers all
Walrus

Ok, I just finished installing the 3,0 patch, or at least I thought that was what I was doing. I no longer have the CD version. The mani screen says Dl and my screen resolution is maxed at 800x600. This won't work.
HELP!

OK, I see what I did wrong. I jumped on the DL patch like a duck on a june bug, without stopping to read the not so fine print.
Now I get to re-install EVERYHING again.

Hi Walrus,
I won't hold you to it :whis:
But roughly what is "very soon"? Is that like one week, or is that like two months?
Cheers

From the patch notes.
The net result is the overall cost of buying infantry in the game has gone up whereas tank costs have stayed the same or maybe gone up a point ot two .
