Just played my first TCIP game!!!

Yeah they are great if you have 3 hours to spare. I try and arrange them when my wife is on a girlie night out. Nothing better than supping on a beer, talking to someone over Skype while playing a big battle.

I'm working on a little something for the IP players, I hope they like it when we get it finished.

I used to play IP games ALL the time at least 45 % of my games with Phil were online matches :)

IP is the best no question about it. Be careful, it makes all other methods of playing the game pale in comparison.

When DevilThomas and I were setting up our game, he couldn't connect to my PC. I use a router, had the DMZ set to "On", and gave him my correct IP address, but no dice. Any advice?

I could connect to his PC no problem.

did you give him your internal IP?
( the one listed in the game screen)
or your External IP
( the one listed when you go to www.whatismyip.com)

The one from what's my IP. I know the Router distorts the IP address.

ok you turned DMZ on and he still couldn't see your PC?
you don't have a windows Firewall running as well do you?

I've had to shut the game down, make the DMZ changes, then restart the game, as opposed to making the changes thru the Alt tab button or windows button to desktop
