Ok guys, the tournament is finished. I have awarded all players their points and medals. Top scoring player for team A was Wigam (congratulations) and for team B was Survor (congratulations). Last post award for team A goes to Yogi (congratulations) and to team B goes to USS Wyoming (congratulations). All other players earned the Sicily soldier medal.

Hope you guys enjoyed playing the games. They were fun to create. Now, on to my next tournament!

The next will be a Vietnam tournament but will be totally different. In this tournament a player will have a mission: For example: In one game a player will have a sniper team. He must kill a target and escape to an extraction point while the opponent uses his patrols to find and kill the sniper team. Or you may have a company that must make it's way from point A to point B along one of four trails. The opponent must decide which trails he wants to set an ambush on and try to prevent you from getting through. He won't have enough to cover all the trails, or he might but will then be very weak if he so decides too.

These are just some ideas I have so far. Obviously they will require more work from the players to get up and going, but I think they will be fun and totally different.

Wow sounds great!

One of the major reasons I want to get MBT is for the Viet Nam era battles ;)

How about a hostage extraction (POW)?

RE: Sicily 1943 error in win level
Ok, I made a mistake and messed up on three players victory level on team A. Iwo Jim was given a medium instead of an OW, Stonefire was given an OW instead of D, and General SP was given a D instead of MDM. This has now been fixed.

The shame of this is that I really am trying. I need to get some more games in, maybe about a thousand.

I shall begin my wartime memoirs with, "Tactics,...tactics? We don't need no stink'in tactics. Quick everybody, to the Maginot line."
