2,500 downloads!

Hi folks, I've mentioned on these boards over the past few days a couple of scenarios I've made for WF "Hell's Corner: Vanguard" and "Cross of Lorraine" about 20 odd people have posted results over the past year or so.

I also posted the scenarios on The Wargamer site and thought I would take a look to see if there were any stats on how often they have been downloaded - I was amazed to see they have a combined download of around 2,500! Bizarre!

Is there a massive interest in the game from people who never visit this board? I can't believe that is the case but it's very odd to see such figures.

Chris it might be the Wargammer linked the scenarios to its webpage so if people type in Lorrain or cross they get a link to the scenario and the Wargammer. It happened to me on a website where I was loading EF2 maps. I got hundreds of hits on the maps but in reality it was just people searching the internet.

Hey don't spoil it for me - I was enjoying my 15 minutes there :)

However I'm not sure how to get the download counter to go up without actually downloading the scenarios - I've tried it! Maybe the CS series is huge in China.

I'll post a scenario called Xpppplshish and see how many downloads it gets. I'm sure no internet search would pick that up. However there are probably not many people who would like to download such a scenario.
(Maybe the Chinese) I have a horrible feeling it would probably still get 1,000+ downloads though. Maybe we should investigate this :)
