Newbie just joined has questions

I see both files in the east front folder. by that I mean I see a
pbemail.xxx and an pbemail.yyy

I sent you the game file that i started as per jasons suggestion and all seemed to go OK.

I guess a question would be when I unzip the file I place it in the main file correct

Put the bte file in your East Front II folder and overwrite the one that's there.

OK my sending it worked for junk2drive
now when I go to unzip it into my main folder it drops it in there using xlm.editor. That seems wrong to me and when I go to start the turn it does not show up in the resume saved game ... it's blank.

Why would it be in the main but not come up when I go to load it in the resume saved game?

If using winzip just unzip to the folder you want it to go to that way it overwrites the old file.IE Talansoft EF2.Also if you set the folder properties to newest first then when you go to the EF folder the .bte file should be at the top just right click to add to the zip file youve called it refresh and the zip file should be at the top then right click and send to opponent.Hope this helps a bit and welcome to the club.

I have sent the bte file.

It worked. Sadly though I have no idea why. I dropped in both the main and EF II flder. I now realize that was not the brightest move since I am no closer to figuring out what folder to put the games in. However trial and error. junk2drive has been great and understanding as I muck my way through this.
