Qualifikation round for CMHQ-PL is almost over so Stirlitz as commander of this tournament inviting 10 Blitz players. We have 14 on our list so please confirm that you really want to play in this event :)

I think there's something that needs to be clarified. This competition was originally conceived as an internal affair and only accidentally turned into an international tournament. Contrary to what you may read elsewhere it has never been meant to be some sort of a World Cup and its rules are not going to be changed to allow for a wider representation of players. It is a knockout tournament open to competitors from other countries or clubs, actually one half of the slots will be filled by foreigners, but participation is essentially by invitation only. It's all in the rules of the competition.
Unfortunately, while announcing this tournament on the Blitz forum someone inadvertently made a reference to the "World Cup", the word spread and now there seems to be some resentment among the CM clubs whose members have been ommitted. So if you haven't received an invitation it doesn't mean that we don't rate you highly enough. Simply you were not on our list of contacts.

Remember

3.8. Battles will be played over approximately 30 turns. Map sizes may vary and they will depend on the battle parameters.

3.9. Each round will be played over 60-day period. Start and finish dates will be announced by the Umpire.
