2 Wulfir: For increase of alertness of armies I ask to give one map for WinSPMBT for training Russian commanders. :smg:

You can train your commanders any way you see fit.

The actual winSPMBT battle maps of Gotland will not be released to the Soviet Team prior to the start of the invasion.

To train on the island, you will have to capture the island. Big Grin

In WinSPMBT there is an excellent editor maps. :)

For trainings the USSR have many islands in Baltic sea.

It is interesting to learn, what will be tasks of fights?

1.Capture of flags.
2. Destruction of armies (to catch Swedes on mountains and woods - then it already will be not the Swedish army, and guerrillas, what means capture of Gotland by Soviet Union). :whis:
3. Break of defense with an output to edge map, what means a victory over operative scale.

Timetable?
What's the timetable for this tournament? When can we expect to receive the scenarios?:smg:

I'd also like to know the magnitude of the scenarios - I guess they wont be that large and long, will they?

Can't wait to begin.:smoke:

Cheers,
Jukka

Epoletov, that was a good bit of smack talk from Lt. Vesku on Warrant Shortreengage. My ears are still ringing and I wasn't even close to the impact crater.

I wanted to start yeasterday.

Monday, May 7th.

Planning not finished by then is planning not going to be finished.

Ready or not, the operation starts Monday at the latest.

Depends entirely of the forces deployed and the way the overall commanders want to fight their battles. Few if any games are likely to be the same. Some will probably VERY un-balanced.

You are the Soviet commander.
Your mission is to defeat the Swedish forces on Gotland.

As the Soviet commander you will have major influence on the tasks set for yourself and your commanders.

The other major incluence will be, naturally, your enemy.

I plan to use Flags to determine the outcome of the battles not so much for the operation/campaign itself but for the results to be logged here at the Blitz.
