This is because your squad throwing handgrenades at a tank is actually meant to represent the squad carrying out a close assault on the tank......it's actually deadly for tanks and is a great way of destroying unsupported armour. You can kill anything with a bit of luck....

In a CMBO QB vs. King James I once took out a Churchill with a 120mm mortar round.

Well perhaps I should have said that it is actually a common occurrence in CM, but most people don't realise it.....they think they have been extremely lucky, whereas it pretty much falls into the "mildly fortunate" category.

stands on a hill and shoot out round after round with direct and indirect fire.just 1 bullet is left,because no tanks ;).
why lucky you ask?it survived,and look at the kills :smoke:..........

The luckiest thing about that is playing against an opponent that would give you that many targets. Has the be the AI, otherwise it is just completely inexcusable.

I once hit and exploded a hull down Firefly with a STU-42 that was doing a fast move at about 800m. A one shot kill when the firefly pulled up to a firing position to nail me.
