Hi Epoletov

I sent Stonefire the turn 1 week ago. I think he is busy and just sent him a email seeing if he even received the turn. Can you give me some interpretation of what means what on the forum? What do I click on to post a message as it all appears in Russian and would be nice if you can give me a very quick short glossary of translations so I can understand what is what :)

Hi Stonefire

I wonder if comcast is blocking you maybe? You may also send it to my AOL instead. [email protected]. I just looked and saw nothing in comcast. Once we can determine what email is actually working then I can fire a ton of turns back :)

2 Wulfir: I Ask to reduce duration of fights in the future as it is heavy to play them when you know that else much-a lot of Turns.

In campaign "T-80" fights consisted from 12 Turns.
After their termination new fights of continuation if they were necessary were created.
Fights quickly played, as psychologically it easily and cheerfully. :)

I suggest to think as to reduce quantity Turns of fights of the first wave of storm Gotland.
For example, to change conditions of a victory.

Harbour Visby -- 5 Turn.
Slite -- 7 Turn.

Try babelfish. It will do an entire web page at a time. I don't remember if it does roooskie, but I think so. What is best is that you can keep it minimized while you type ( or in my case sorta type) your massive, then switch back and forth between windows to see which buttons to click.

I understand what you are saying but I promise nothing.

I for one disagree. While a 12 turn (25 to 26 minutes) battle might be more or less the norm, you are completely ignoring the approach march to that battle, WHICH IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE ACTUAL SHOOTING. Plus by reducing the number of turns, you take any tactics involved and throw them out the window. No terrain driving, or terrain masking, or ambushes, or anything else that remotely resembles tactical combat. You turn the game into a shooting match, which IS NOT what SP is. If you want a shooting match, there are many good tank shooters out there. Look it up.
Also a short game helps the Soviets, since their MBT's are not designed for long slug fests, or the tactical use of hunter/killer teams.

You have been bablefished!

It is not possible to play battles like Slite in 10 turns or else you have to abstract a lot of fighting like the AA versus transports, arty versus drop zones etc.
