New Matrix download

I hope that someone who has already downloaded the matrix files will be able to answer a few questions for me. I do not have the Sealion or RS disks so will the download from Matrix cause a problem? To play the current EF & WF disks I have I have installed a GameDrive program that allows me to launch the disks without playing the actual disks. Will I be able to do the same with the Matrix download? If I purchase the download will I still be sent the hard disk? Any other items that you can think of that I need to know before I purchase will be most appreciated.

If you download, you can install the game and all parts (WF RS EFII) will play without a disk in the drive. Default the new game will install in a different directory than the original Talonsoft version so your old games (including virtual drive settings) will not be affected. Games between users where one has Matrix and the other one has the old version are not compatible though.
You can order both boxed version and download; you can download the game and play immediately and the cd and printed manualwill be sent to you. I heard that the boxed version will be available soon.
Personally I just purchased the download and burnt it on cd just as backup. Don't need the manual as I still have the old manuals from Talonsoft.

WONDERFUL NEWS !!! When I am able to get the boxed version of Matrix CS
I will be able to load it and use it without a disc!! No longer will I have to live in fear of a corrupted disc denying me access to the fantastic CS games! Hopefully, no longer will I have to change discs for WF battle pack etc !
I really look forward to buying the Matrix boxed set, loading it and adding some of the great scenarios we have all collected in CS over the years.

I am very grateful to Jason, George and other team members (with John Tiller again too ! ) for the skilled work they have put in and am glad to hear happy reports from the early purchasers

Another option:

NWS is selling the box version (when they get them) for $34.99 plus shipping.

You won't get to download and play but you will be supporting NWS, Matrix and the team all at the same time and save a little money.

Thanks. Who are NWS and where do we contact them? No doubt we will hear from Matrix when the boxed version is available. Will we "foreigners" go for the US or European version? I think in the past I have always gone for the larger of the two.
