LONGBOW
Psst! - very early days yet but I'm planning a new CMBB Tourney to be hosted at Blitz (if Randy approves) and called 'Longbow', played on an incredibly long thin corridor of a map, the aim being to see just how far you can get down it before grinding to a halt under stiffening enemy resistance.. :)

RE: LONGBOW
Sort of a Market Garden "Hell's Highway" idea....I like it. Good idea, Spike :)

RE: LONGBOW
It's called a push-map in the FPS terminology. Just keep sending reinforcements :)

RE: LONGBOW
PS - I vaguely seem to remember hearing the name 'Longbow' before in CM, maybe there's already a scenario of the same name out there is that right?
If that's the case I'll change the name of mine

RE: LONGBOW
that sounds too simple... MEs aren't as challenging as making em fight all the way to the end of the map against increasing forces. balanced fights are kind of boring. especially since german tanks tend to be better. I think any german general would be happy to fight at 1:1 odds. usually they only got 1:3 or worse... besides I suspect an ME on that map would end up battling only on the middle 1km.

RE: LONGBOW
It would be more interesting with alternating unbalanced forces
