There is a H2H section where you can officially get scenarios tested and evaluated, you might want to upload the scenario there.

Seems interesting.

There are no victory hex (only 1 in the NW, with 0 value). No problem for Russia, which goal is to ambush.

But for the Afghan side, they may be granted a reward for escaping.

For the scenario to be included in the next patch / update, I see two options:
* post your scenario at the Shrapnel forum and at the Wargamer, and pray
* or contact the SPCamo person in charge of that task. Don't know who it is, I'm interested too cuz I have designed a scenario.

#1 is very unlikely to work out
#2 is more likely to happen. If your scenario passes the tests in the H2H Section of the Blitz, I'll take care of it and talk to CAMO guys.
BTW the SPCAMO person in charge of the task doesnt exist. Stock scenarios are usually made by betatesters or designers doing it for years for CAMO.

# 1 works for Wulfir.

True, the stock scenarios designers are generally well 'established' in the SPMBT community, but everybody has a chance.
In 2004, I had the honor to submit a scenario and it was accepted as scenario 103.

Concerning 'Ambush 312 Spetsnaz Group 4/1984', it seems to me designed more to play vs ai than for pbem, because there are no victory hexes. So it is not primarily a H2H scenario, IMO.

As for passing the H2H tests, it's 'Mission Impossible', not a single scenario on that Ladder has ever succeeded in such a deed, AFAIK Big Grin

The destruction even one Soviet soldier puts an opportunity of a victory of the USSR (any of 22 spetsnaz soldier historically was not lost) under doubt.
One soldier Spetsnaz Group has value 500 pts. ;)

Lorries with a valuable cargo at once have been destroyed or left by crew or have turned over and have fallen in the dried up channel of the river.

The most difficult for the Soviet soldiers was to not be lost from attacks of mojaheds before arrival of the help (helicopters Mi-24 and armourgroup).

Mojaheds fired from DshK and RCL Gun, but ineffective as there was a night and did not see the enemy.
There were many attacks of insurgents to the western party of positions spetsnaz group. But machine gunner Bataew has beaten off 5-6 waves of attacks.

After unsuccessful attacks, 10-15 insurgents moved in rear where ordered Part. Org. KPSS (komissar). It was afraid and together with it two soldiers protected rear spetsnaz group. And only detection of danger and fast moving of command AGS-17 has rescueed all (these 10-15 insurgents could shoot in a back all Spetsnaz Group).

Then began to dawn and the help - insurgents retreat has come.

---
Playing for mojaheds can rescue lorries, but it is very difficult in my opinion.
Then to it remains to destroy 1-2 spetsnaz soldier.

To order about mojaheds difficultly enough. At them is not present smoke.
Experience average, though morals high.
Tested, it is difficult enough to attack, especially if for the first time it to do.

Playing for Russian, it is easy to hide in smoke if insurgents will find out them and will begin bombardment.
But always there is a chance to lose the Soviet soldier from a stray bullet (they Size=1, except for sniper).

What for victory hexes if it is possible to make waypoints ?

---

Has now updated a file.
Link the same.
At spetsnaz group now is not present smoke is it is made for balance of forces.
The USSR became more difficult for winning.

Ulf fits to both categories I mentioned - longterm designers and betatesters.
Sure everybody has a chance, I know your scenario. AFAIR you used the map from one of my tourneys.

H2H tests - I'd recommend to do some marketing for your scens. Email friends, opponents, let them know etc. It is the just the question of making people play the scen.
