Raw Recruit
Hi! I just joined the ladder, and am looking for a game or two of WinSPMBT. I'm a touch rusty, but I play against the computer every now and again, and have played a couple of PBEM games against a friend.

Hi Panzer

Welcome to the club and let me apologize for some of our members. Members like Grumbler for example :whis:

I can play you a game if you like. Year? Ideas? Preferred side?

He must be a notorious roustabout, then.

So many choices. I'm partial to NATO/WP and Arab-Israeli wars, but I've also enjoyed using the editor for odd but not completely implausible combinations like China/Russia or Japan/N. Korea. Thoughts?

Did I hear my name? Or was that the theme song from Jaws?
Arab-Arab battles work better then Arab-Israeli ones. Normally, an Arab Israeli battle becomes a slaughter, while in Arab-Arab battles, both sides have a chance to win. Iraq-Syria is a pretty good match during the 70's. Iran-Iraq during the 80's although Iran isn't an Arab Nation. Lot of history there.
And I shot a little premature on the Doctor thingie. I'm gonna have to do the field work after all. I will be given until July '08 to do it and write a paper on it. Bummer. I thought I had that part fixed, but it came unfixed. I shoulda used duct tape, only you married guys had the supply locked up.
SO I'm just Grummi the Megalodon still.

Well, well, well. Use the words 'duct tape' and marriage in the same sentence and look who shows up.

Always leave it to to Grumbler to offer his 500 word essay on any topic. Even if he knows nothing about it :) Big Grin

Actually he knows quite a lot so good to learn from him :)

I always like Nato/WP wars so that is a good direction :)

600 words when I know nothing, which is most of the time.
I didn't get my position as village idiot thru nepotism, I had to apply and beat out several talented candidates. It helped that the local champion, algore was out of state at the time, but hey, you gots to take your breaks where you find them, just Like SP.:kill:

Arab/Arab actually sounds pretty fun, but that's a game for another day.

Maybe Into the Mouth of Hell 8/89? I've always had a thing for British armor, though the light brigade reference makes me a little nervous.
