JSGME mod swapper
Guys,

I downloaded the JSGME mod swapper in order to play junk2Drive’s Cuban Missile Crisis scenario … but was wondering how to use it to make my own bases and flags …

I noticed most of the instructions cover games other then CS.

Are there any on-line instructions for CS use with the JSGME mod swapper .

Or can somebody be nice enough to pose them as reply.

Also was wondering how to make new units from scratch for OOB section.

Again, are there any instructions on-line or here at the Blitz …

Cheers ..

Spud

RE: JSGME mod swapper
Hi, sorry for the delayed reply but I was watching The War.

JSGME doesn't make mods. It only swaps files and backs up the originals.

For my mod I did some detective work using Window's Paint to open the bmps and find the ones that I needed to change. I made a folder outside of my installs just for mods. I copied and pasted the French bmps into the folder. I renumbered them to the number of the NVA bmps. I then made the Cuba folder in my JSGME mod folder and copied and pasted the renumbered bmps into that.
For the modded Phasebox, I opened the bmp with Paint, pasted the flags I had made, and saved them as 24 bit bmps. I then opened them and saved again as 256 color bmps. (I think that's how I did it)

In the top banner under G-1 is Training Ground. There is a lot of useful info there.

Making new units and new graphics is out of my league.

RE: JSGME mod swapper
Post your scen in my thread. That way they can all stay together. I didn't get a lot of downloads and your's is the only feedback so far.

Glad you had fun with it.
