What would be really cool would be Patton's Dream '45, where Patton takes it to the Soviets in the former Czechoslavakia and Austria, although it would be really a PzC. How many would buy that?

Or, say the intervention of the Western Allies in East Germany during the 1953 uprising? And, to continue with the theme, how about a Praque Spring '68, where the Czech Army resists the invasion and NATO comes to the rescue? Sort of taking the concept from the old SPI game "Revolt in the East".

I, too, would like to see HPS do something on Vietnam, but it would have to envolve a slightly different engine than the PzC/MC one, although still at battalion level. From there they could expand to Central America and Africa to cover the guerilla-type conflicts in out-of-the-way areas. Of course, the title of the series would be "Guerilla Campaigns".

Agreed with Landser's comments. Wasn't it in 1967 that Russia and China actually came to blows in Siberia or Mongolia? Thus, it is easy to conclude that if Russia was losing in W.Europe China would be emboldened to attack in the east.

Two thumbs up for a Far East '85 game!!!!

I am not so sure for a Far East'85 game. What objetives to go for in the
vast Sibir?

CptCav had some very good ideas for titles in Africa/ Central America.

But most I hope for a Iran-Irak game and alot of what ifs with both US and
Soviet intervention.

Bagration,

About a year or two ago I brought up the possibilty, or hope, that one day we would see a MC game based upon the Iran-Iraq war. The powers to be who are involved with HPS sims were "less than enthusiastic" to this title.

For the life of me I don't know why they are opposed to it as it actually has the scale of combat of that of the eastern front in WW2. No other war since then has been fought on that scale except for the Iran-Iraq war.

We'd have a better chance of seeing China vs Russia before we'd ever seen Iran v Iraq.

RE: Any new Modern campaign in the pipeline?
Hiroo,

ok thanks for that. Looks like it is only you and me who had liked that title.
And we settle that it never will be made.
Looks like a new german cold war title is what it will be.

RE: Any new Modern campaign in the pipeline?
Bagration...I need to correct your English. You said, "Looks like a NEW German cold war title is what it will be."

You should have said,"Looks like ANOTHER German..."
