So far, Herroberst leads the noncom vets as one of the toughest to beat. I concur, Vic is a canny battler and a gentleman through and through.

McIvan and Colonel Talvela are in the total vote lead with 5 each.

Please keep voting.

Cheers!

No, silly. Other is in the lead, with 14 votes. Never played him, but I hear he's tough.

Why don't the big guys fight it out in a Random Challenge. Let's say Italy/5K ME/Combined Arms/ Medium Troops/Everything else RANDOM. You get what the computer gives you.

I know everyone likes too buy their on Kit, but this way you take the tryed and true out of it and the surprise factor is at it's greatest.

This will should settle who is the War Dog.

Heck I would love to see how that played out.

Sometimes the random draw kits are completely unbalanced though.

How about mirror-battles?

It'll be billed as the "Last Top Dog Standing" Tourney ;)

Well of the 25 top players mentioned in this thread, many have moved to inactive status. If such a tournament was to be made, then it would be invite only. The random battle idea (speaking for the majority of these guys) just simply would not fly, but perhaps a 3000 ME QB or mirror attack defense type tournament may work, that highlights every aspect of the game making the winner a well rounded player.

Cheers!

I hear what you saying about everyone what's too buy their own kit. In real life what commander wouldn't. It is never that way in real life.

You could allow for one redraw as far as Kit goes and then it is what you got you got.

You would have too mirror it for sure.

As kit buying is directly linked to performance, I can't see this flying... it would of course depend upon the players, but I would not hold out hope that any would be interested.

Cheers!
