Operation Sealion

I'm working on some maps (and hopefully, eventually some scenarios) for a hypothetical Operation Sealion campaign thingy. Do I NEED the CD to edit maps and scenarios/ post them? All my work is on paper thus far...

No, you can use the generic map editor; what the cd version allows you to do is copy and paste from different maps, and also has auto saving into slot 999 once every ten minutes. Also it allows you to undo the last 12 map clicks etc etc.

Home guard do not appear to be available in the British OOB for 1940, although the encyclopedia says that they are. Any idea how to get these units for a scenario or battle?

Encyclopedia says they are available from November 40 or from January 41. ;)
You have to change the date of the battle or change the oob.

Nope, that's not working. The battle date is Feb '41. They don't come up in the oob. I'll keep trying but if anyone has any bright ideas let me know.

The HOME GUARD are listed under miscellaneous units instead of infantry. They are available from Nov 40 onwards. I set up Feb 41 and went to misc and they were there.
