Early War - report games
Ok guys, with six games reported three have been won by Poland, and three by Russia which means the scenario is balanced and dependent upon the players involved. Go ahead and report your games per the tournament site as you normally would.

RE: Early War - report games
Hi Chris
Steve gets a Medium Victory for the Russians in our battle.
Reported on ladder.

I don't know how nalanced it was...looking at the map I was being over-run by a horde!
Those big Polish squads were no help at all, they just took casualties at twice the rate :hissy:

Anyway, it was a good fight and I was well beaten by a seasoned veteran who made no mistakes at all.
Well done Steve and thanks for the excellent start to the tourney Chris.
Hurrah!!

RE: Early War - report games
I;m not having much luck today. First I couldn't log in, which since I never log out was a bad sign. After getting bounced for failing the 3 try test a couple of time, I made it. Then I went to report the game between Jim and myself and couldn't find anyplace to report it. So for what it's worth;
Poland 12 flags 1321 points
Soviets 9 flags 1465 points
Another turn and Jim would have had 2 or 3 more flags.:smoke:
All and all a most excellent battle. Even if there had been another turn.:kill:

RE: Early War - report games
Spanish Civil War. I think the Poland Czechoslovia border re-alingment of Oct, 1938 would have been interesting also. The Czech's were so worried about Hitler, nobody said a word when Poland snapped up some land it claimed.
The Czech's could have fought if they had wanted too. There are OK topos of that area, they are modern, but since there is like one road and one village, it shouldn't make much of a difference. The road a nd village were there to support a castle built in the 13th century, so it's not like there has been much change between 1938 and the 1990's when the map was done (I think. I don't read polish, so I'm guessing that what those dates were.
I thyink it would make a nice little 'what-if' battle.:soap:
