It's good to see that people are trying to revive the H2H section :bow:

My question is why we opened threads for these scenarios?

Most of them are under H2Hplaytesting currently and will get scores and comments in the appropriate afterH2H section.

What we do need are threads with Q&A for new scenarios that aren't ready for H2H playtesting as in the 'development' area.
Once they're finished there they can be labeled as 'H2H ready'

The new threads here were because there's not a place in the Playtest area for interaction between designer and playtesters. The section admins are all covered up. So after some extensive discussion I put up all new threads. One for each scenario that's over there.

Seems to be working. There are new comments being posted to those threads already.

And what's the point?
In one post I read that the section will be deleted, never recieved a mail about it.

Then I see you opening threads for scenario discussions in the H2H section, the same thing as I did on the right location.

I was always told that uploading a scenario meant that the scenario was ready to play.
After the H2H game was finished they would give their ratings. This works fine with some dedicated testers as Bootie f.e.

I opened a 2nd section for playtesting, this should be used BEFORE the scenario gets uploaded to the H2H section.

Now what you do is the same thing in a different section.

It would've been nice and a demonstration of some respect and friendship when someone would've talked to me. NOT to get an aprroval or such...I'm just a CM-designer...nothing more....I don't feel myself important or such...

You have a great idea but you handle it as a rotating KingTiger in a kindergarten playground :stir:

Well, I looked at the section and thought it was mainly a technical support section. A more how to than a comments and interaction section.

I agree with you. What seems to be confusing is what should happen in each section involving the H2H Productions. Or maybe I'm the only one confused.

What I did was finish adding the scenario discussion threads that weren't already started here in this section. Again, I don't see any scenario discussion threads in the 'development' area.

Well, you may be, "just a CM-designer" but it certainly doesn't stop there. Your commitment to the hobby we all support is phenomenal! I looked in your section before posting here but didn't see the kind of threads that I just put on here.

I thought your section was all about the idea of helping a designer get whatever help he needed BEFORE he put the scenario here for playtesting not afterwards.

Could very well be. Normally a King Tiger is a good thing but not in a kindergarten. The intention certainly wasn't to circumvent your section but to supplement the playtesting process. My apologies for any misunderstanding.

Koen, Since your last activity on the development forum was Oct 7, I was getting the impression the development area was becoming a build and run scenario. That coupled with the overall lack of posts from you as of late kinda of pointed things in that direction.
An entire section of forums was sitting at idle without the driver :)
I hope to see more of you in the coming weeks to prove me wrong.

Randy, yes, it got slowly...I'm limiting my CM involvements....new hobby...tired from work....and a lack of challenging and enjoyable scenarios....

well in that case do you want to simply merge into the H2H forum for the sake of simplicity since it appears to be confusing to some?
It can still remain a sub forum, so to speak, but will just be inside of the H2H area, where all scenario building and testing should prolly be anyways. There are also more active caretakers there as well.
