Do members play H2H or SPWAW 8.4??

Im a bit confused on which way to go.
Do people play SPWAW 8.4?? or H2H?

Im really looking forward to getting back into PBEM gaming but had no responce to a game request.

Im not a newbie but havent played for a looong while

Well i know there is H2H, i am playing a game of that now, but its getting less and lees played.

SPWAW(enhanced) i think its called now is still played and is championed by Alby and other like Vesku.

If you are up for a game of H2H, lets talk turkey. What sort of game you after?

Game ideas - I see there is a 1920s tournament going on do you fancy a game of that era.

Ok for the H2H mod go to

H2H mod

And you will also need the vid998 patch there also. Put that patch in the snd folder and then go into stream folder and put it there.

Then you should be up and running. :)

A early game sounds fine.

H2H is my bread and butter ... and I have a page where you can dl all necessary versions but it's on another computer, will tell you once I get that.

Ok I've hit the road running with your help and Im ready for the pbem experience
I checked out what forces are availiable for 1930s and it looks a bit grim so we could do another battle;
1. WW2 eastern front is always good for carnage not winter maybe 1942ish.
2. computer buys are more entertaining with rariety off.
3. biggish map / 20ish visability / 20 turns or so

Any ideas by you are cool as you know the H2H better than me.

H2H lacks the sixth sense "*" which makes a big difference in game play. Try CC on, it also affects the game a lot and IMHO makes it much better. Otherwise it's hard to give you tips without knowing your level of experience, I might tell you all the things you already know and nothing new.

Hi Steamroller, any thing sounds good to me. The eastern front will be fine, 1942 sounds good. No uber tanks yet. Or maybe a desert battle in 42'. The Africa Korps vs the Eigth Army. But up to you.

And Vesku, we have not played in a long while. How about a game of H2H? What do you say. :)

I wouldnt minding doing eastern front as 'a getting my feet wet' again as its in my comfort zone. Maybe a desert battle next time.
