France 40 Mod B
I just finished an exciting game with Akhenaton, in which I eked out an overwhelming victory as Germany, with only a few moves to go...
I report this here, because the idea got around during playtest, that the Allies were too strong in this scenario. The reported games now show two OV's for the Allies, and two for the Germans.

Akhenaton is inexperienced, but he played a very solid game, and didn't make any obvious mistakes. He also probably used the best strategy to deal with Belgium and Holland, which is to abandon them to the Germans without a big fight (but this may be disputed!). Nevertheless, the Germans eventually wore the Allies down, with gradually increasing advantages due to growing Allied desertions (EEV engine), recurring shock, and Allied supply disruptions. Note also that the German victory was possible, in spite of the in-game withdrawal of XV and XIX Panzer Corps; there's a 75% chance for each to withdraw, and had one of them stayed in the game, the German would have been stronger in the final turns.

I think this game is balanced, and can be won by either side. Either way, it's an interesting scenario, because of the events, and EEV dynamics. It's available here, under H2H, as an approved scenario; download it, and read the briefing; you may become infected with the desire to change history in May of 1940!
