Matrix 1.02 patch

Matrix CS is really great but the 1.02 patch is 25.3 megs. I do not have broadband and it would take ages to load so is there any way I can get it as a zipped .exe file? I would be happy to pay for it

Hey Hawk,

You might want to hold off on that for just a few more weeks.

The 1.03 UPDATE is being wrapped up and will be a few hundred MBs when all is said and done.

When Talonsoft were in operation I remember they issued a cd with the patches included.
I also don't have broadband, is it a possibilty that a CD could be produced with the upgrades, that could be purchased, or is it an uneconomical proposition?

Won't people need to have the 1.02 patch installed before installing 1.03?

Hi Peter

Logically, the CD should go out with the latest update included. How long that takes though to go into effect after release, I am unsure.

I will find out though once 1.03 is released, just so I know!

Thanks for the replies and kind offers to send a CD. Jason's reply is, as usual very helpful and important so we must all wait for the 1.03 upgrade.

If 1.03 is so big there will be two classes of Matrix devotees-- those who just have the great initial release but no broadband and those who will be able to get the full benefit of Jason (et al's) valuable contributions.

The original disc was so cheap that surely there would be many others like me who would be happy to buy the upgrade disc. Many of us would have a stable of Talonsoft discs but with just one more we would be able to play the latest Campaign Series without the old annoying disc changing we used to do.

How about it mates?
