Marriage counseling
Well,
3 more nights to go and I'm chained to marriage...
Who has some good tips?
Who can give me some useful advice?
How can I be a good husband?
How should I enter the weddingnight?
I need some help

RE: Marriage counseling
1. Relax and enjoy the day ! It won't be the best day in/of your life, but chances are it will be good.
2. Forget about being a good husband. Be the man she wanted to marry. Whatever you do, no matter how considerate you are, there will be times/moments that you will do something wrong. Well, according to your wife anyway.
3. Be awake when entering the weddingnight. The rest you have to figure out yourself !
4. Ignore McIvan. Appearently he married the wrong woman.
Have a great day ! Hope for you the springweather holds (today we had a little frost in the night, but sunny weather during daytime here in Friesland).

RE: Marriage counseling
You will now spend the rest of your life hoping that she does not change, yet she will. She will spend the same time trying to change you, and you won't.
Good times (if you squint)

Great advice from Bert.
In particular, the wedding day is really for the bride. So relax yourself, and just try to make it special for her, then enjoy the honeymoon. It's a great time.

RE: Marriage counseling
Always remember that many of life's decisions are to be made by the both of you, not by one or the other.
Stay spontaneous, even with the normal everyday stuff.
Be the man she married, nothing less, but always more.
Give each other time and space for friends and family, but always have your time together alone.
Be sure she gets her own PC and Internet access.
Always put the toilet seat down.
Been with my wife 20 years... married for 11

the fact that whatver I do I like to do together with her was a great step towards asking her....
