Smolensk '41 Campaign problem
Recently started a S '41 campaign (Greg Smith's 170 turn game). As the Soviet player, I received the German first turn, which opened up to the black screen with the one green hex in the upper left. I have reinstalled and patched S '41, only to get the same result.:conf:

I just got Smolensk and this game looks like a lot of fun. All input/help will be greatly appreciated!

To start with:

Make sure that you unzipped the S'41 revised campaign into the proper subfolders.

Even though you have patched the S41 game to the latest version, your opponent must also do so. If not, then the German player will need to patch to the same latest version and start a new game turn with that version.

The point is you must both be on the same version for the game's PBEM files to work properly.

Compare and contrast.

The zip file should have the folder structure embedded in it, otherwise look at your existing file sturecture and see where the BMP, PDT, SCN, etc files are located, and put them there.
