You are invited to play a little Combat Mission Poker. The number of open spots will depend on the interest in the Tournament, but it has to be in multiples of 8 players. This will be single knockout, playing games using CMBB only. Each game will have one side to be played using forces chosen and edited by me. It will be on a premade map. Both will be made ready to be downloaded and or viewed as a post on theBlitz. The Tournament rules are as follows:
The map and forces of one side will be made ready to be downloaded or/and viewed for 1 week.
All players will email me with a secret bid as to how many points they feel that they need to spend in order to defeat the premade force and win the battle.
All players will email me with a secret bid as to how many turns they feel it will take them to win the battle.
Your bids will be based on unrestricted, standard rarity.
The players with the lowest bids will then get to choose their forces using the amount of points that they bid. The points may be spent however you like, but MUST NOT exceed the points that you bid.
The number of turns in the games will be the average of the players with the lowest bids in turns. Game length will be fixed.
The players left to play the preselected force will have 100 points to spend as they like, other then that, they are stuck playing what is imported on the map.
Opponents will be selected in this order: SAMPLE BIDS
Player1 bets 2000points
Player2 bets 1900points
Player3 bets 1890points
Player4 bets 1510points
Player5 bets 1500points
Player6 bets 1450points
Player7 bets 1375points
Player8 bets 1290points
Player 5 picks own force and plays Player 1 with preselected force + 100points
Player 6 picks own force and plays Player 2 with preselected force + 100points
Player 7 picks own force and plays Player 3 with preselected force + 100points
Player 8 picks own force and plays Player 4rfrg with preselected force + 100points
All games will have the average turns as a fixed time limit.
Below is a sneak peek at the first battle, an German attack on Russian defences. An over view of the Russian force is as follows:

2x 45mm m38 AT Gun

I am looking at three knockout rounds followed by one final round. Once there is enough interest, I will post the opening battle including the parametres and attached file.
So if you bet high, be prepared to play the preselected force, you have to bet low to keep the Axis force size small, then again with a low bet you may have to play the Axis side with only the points that you bet.
