Moscow 41--The Main Event
I was looking at this scenario, 1115_05, and noticed that the German 23rd Infantry Division does not appear at all. It is part of the 56th Panzer Korps, and actually makes an appearance in the "Rokossovsky's Rocky Road" scenario (1120_02), which features the 56th PzK making its drive through Klin. So I figured it ought to show up in this scenario.

So I've modified this to add the division, it appears on the second day on the south edge, about where you'd expect. Just look at the main campaign and you can figure out what I figured out.

Just get the attached file, and you'll see my new version of this scenario. The German gets an extra infantry division, so the balance may be thrown off.

RE: Moscow 41--The Main Event
Just looking at this now and it is a really tricky situation The Unit in question is OFF map in the #1115_05 Small campaign and you are correct, it makes a appearance in the #1120_02 Scn where the research was really close in.

Unfortunately when I cut down the main campaign to make this smaller, more playable ver, I missed this units appearance on the north edge of the map.

In the main CG, the unit is unfixed at the start and in all likelihood the unit would not show up and be used where it was actually used. Also - it is difficult to say exactly where it should be at which time on this small CG - not without digging out the situation maps which I am sure I have somewhere.

But clear what you have pointed out is what I call a LOGIC flaw and this is something I really try to ensure does not happen when we make smaller CGs and such.

So I've elected to bring on the missing division near the north edge of the map where it was historically employed. And I've set the arrival with a 70% change an ZERO percent for the follow on unit of the division. The net effect is the Div will arrive together on the map edge where it was originally used and with a variable percentage.

I'll send John Tiller a copy of the scn for the next update of Moscow, whenever that may be. I have emailed a copy to you and I can post one here if I can figure out how to attach it.
