Hotkey for Rail

Glenn could we get a hotkey for embarking/disembarking for rail? I use rail a lot and its a pain not having a hotkey for it (eg. F40-Allies have a rail cap of 60). I think the R key could be used as I have never used the current hotkey feature for R, which I think is rotating a units facing. Please :bow:

I rarely chime in on these things but a hotkey for rail mode is one feature I would really like to see. Hope some consideration is given to it.

I think in Normandy'44 facing is used for some German artillery on the coast.

Yea, but it's useless in other titles.

Unfortunately there are no letters left in the alphabet and John will not take away an existing feature. So I don't think this one will fly - I wil ask, but I am not really optimistic.

Sorry to hear John will not consider changing the R hot key. I can tell you from my experience of over 100 scenarios played that I never used the current R hot key. However, I have used rail movement a lot as other have attested to. F40 is probably where the rail feature is used the most for the Allied commander.

I think this idea, which has surfaced before, has the bang per buck ratio to be considered.

Not sure if all the keys in the keyboard are used as hotkeys, I mean I wouldnt need to be "R" in that case but any key, but R is fine to me (or any other key)
