This is the current Lebanese Army OOB (~55000 Soldiers), after the reorganization of some Brigades in Spring 2005. it doesn't include the units that Lebanon is expected to have during this year or the year after ( i meant the 10 Mig-29 fulcrums, the dozens of M60 Tank, the Leopard tanks ... etc)

There is also units pictures -witch i made myself using photoshop- in the zip file, in the folder "Czechoslovakia".

This is my first oob. It took me a lot of research, and some interviews with active officers. the accuracy of units name and organization is high. you can trust me on that.

However, i am not quite sure about the values (soft & Hard attack, defense, assault .... etc) because this is my first oob. that's the work of the professionals. but i tried my best at this time.

About Units quality:
-the Special forces Units (Airborne Rgt, Commando Rgt, Navy Seals Rgt, and the Counter-Sabotage Rgt) are A quality due to their training, experience, and equipments.
-the five Intervention Regiments are B.
-the Majority of the Army Units (the Brigades, the 2 Independent Armored Rgts, .... etc) are C and D.
-the Reserves are D and E.

Lebanon have seen Many struggles during and after the 1975-1990 Civil war. nonstop action actually since 1975. to this day the situation is really far away from being safe. nobody knows when the recreation of the 2006 war will be.

Any notes or comments are Very Appreciated. Feel free to contact me by email if you want to.

little thing, the nationality in the oob for the Leb Army is West-German, it should be Czechoslovakian if you want to let the pictures appears in the scenario editor.

edit: or just change the Czechoslovakia folder name to West-German (if you don't have a folder in the game with that name)

MasnarT,

Great stuff ... some really good looking artwork here.

However, one question ...

Do I simply copy and paste to my ME67 file as is, or do I have to alter the names of anyfiles?

Cheers

Spud

glad that you like my art work, Spud :)
edit: by the way they are all Lebanese (except the mortar guy). did you see that funny guy in "Leb Reserves.bmp" Big Grin ??

my zip file above only contains the .oob file, and the folder "Czechoslovakia" witch contains the art work. but as i said before, it should be same nationality between the oob and the folder. if you want to see the units in the scenario editor, leave the oob as it is, just change the name of Czechoslovakian folder to West-German Big Grin
