Green Squad Leader Takes Command

Ok having recently received SqB Winter War Im needing a grizzled veteran to take me under their wing and show me the ins and outs of this game.

Im presently working through the tutorial and in about a day or two I should be ready to start drill school.

Who wants to turn this lump of coal into a SqB diamond. :)

Also any gamey tactics that should be avoided??

WW is current, being so new. There have been no extra enhancements to this game as of yet.

As for gamey tactics, I think you'll find that most, if not all, players here are playing to have a good time, not pad their stats, if that's what you mean by gamey... I have yet to run into a player on the SB ladder that I felt was doing something underhanded. I've met some great guys here and I think you'll enjoy your introduction to SB. WW is a great title.

The only thing I will advise you on is that the armor in the WW is quite vulnerable, especially to the HMG fire. The Soviet T-20s are made of cardboard, especially if they get popped by a good ole Finnish Molovot cocktail. Keep your armor supported by infantry if at all possible.
