Epic Minsk Campaign Completed
Hey All,

Lowlander and myself completed what I at least call one of the best PzC campaigns I have played. We played Sgt Fury's version of the Minsk 44 campaign. We ended with a Draw which we both agreed was the best outcome as we both put a lot into this campaign. We started it in October of 2007 and completed it in February of 2009. Wow.

P.S. Can Lowlander and I get the campaign completion bonus?

Marty,

Is this the result of the game featured in your DAR SS Totenkopf - "Fire Brigade" (M44 Campaign)?

Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

Sure send the final turn file and the password to Dog Soldier and he will award the bonus. :)

Well done for staying the course.

Marty,
 cheers Congrats, I remember you and I almost went the distance on a S'41 campaign years ago. I have never finished a whole campaign as my opponents give up or disappear before we finish. :(

149 turns over 15 months works out to, approximately, 10 turns a month or one turn every three days. So you were basically completing a turn within 1.5 days of receiving the file. I'll bet that you had other games going during that time. That's dedication!

I agree completely with Marty's assessment of this campaign game of many many high's and low's for both player's.
Marty really handled the German forces with great skill and I nearly £$%& my pants once or twice when he launched stinging counter attacks, and understand now why the SS units were feared and hated by the Allied forces.
Sgt Fury has worked wonders with altering the campaign game to a better balanced HTH encounter, highly recommend this version to anyone considering playing the grand campaign game.
And Marty thanks again for many months of thrilling nail biting entertainment and finally gett'in us the campaign game bonus points.
