Yes, something like that would be fine with an Listening/Observation Post further out for early warning. We can make up the "loss" to you in reinforcements depending on how things are going.

I'm hoping that both the flank battles will go our way and you two can advance along the outskirts of the town while I hold the center and nail his troops in place - to work on an envelopement of the town, figuring fighting through it would be expensive and perhaps unnecessary.

With luck we can form a cauldron of the German infantry and pound them with guns and artillery while the flank mobile columns first envelope the town and move on further West.

We'll see.

Ratzi, would like to see snipers and additional reconnaissance elements in the reinforcement menu in future as well as anything else that would be available in this time period, e.g. SU-76, T-70, SU-122, etc. Thanks.

The Reinforcement lists will change from day to day, so will the number of points to spend. Right now the points are a modified d6 for each side. As for units, I have to watch the balance but I am sure that you will see some other units as time moves on. This is my 1st go at running something like this, so am keeping it simple, the next one will be a little more involved.

All the maps are finished. I will be assembling the battles tonight and might have them posted later tonight or tomorrow. The files will be named south, centre and north and the Germans will get to start things off. No loading the battle in the editor and taking a look. Some forces might arrive as reinforcements during the battle, so do not get hung up on everything being there at turn 1.

File has been sent to the german side, and it should be with Combat Wombat soon. The other battles will be posted to the German side some time today, they are about 95% complete, just going over setup zones and the small stuff.
