I just re-checked the game and it is a T-34 that has the damaged gun. You had me worried for a second, I hate getting things screwed up.:)

Ratzi, you received the file from our final battle between Jonny and I correct?

Also, are we expected to garrison portions of the map we move through/seize in order to hold the flag objectives? My presumption is yes we do need to garrison objectives if we want to deny them to the opponent or provide LP/OPs and SA (situational awareness).

Yes, I looked at both the final turns of your battle. I then posted each players losses to each side respectively. A good move by all to try to keep some FOW by not looking at the enemy forces at game's end. I will mention this to the Germans as well. Maybe ending the fight one turn before and sending me the files is the way to go. As for garrisoning the flags that you have taken, I will have to wait on the other battles being fought before I can get a good read on what is going on, then it will be up to you how/if you do it. There is some book keeping to be done between turns so there will be some time to get everything straight.
Oh, and being that the other side withdrew from the battle their battle report contained nothing other then their own losses, where as I posted here some information on troop type faced and approx. enemy losses.

Hi Ratzki;

I should have asked this earlier, but do we get our ammo replenished between battles? I should have checked before I spent the past 4-5 turns blasting away merrily at the buildings in my battle...

Also, further to herroberst's question, if we do not garrison the current maps at all, do we assume the flags stay Soviet, or will they revert to neutral?

Thanks

Yes forces will get replenished between battles unless the units get cut off from their friendly map edge.Only the roads will allow supplies to reach the front lines, so do not loose control of the main road(s) between you units and your side of the map.
The flags that are Russian will not have to be garrisoned to remain in Russian hands.
Just another note, units will only be able to battle in 2 time periods or suffer fatigue. So Dawn, Mid Day, Dusk, only 2 of the 3 can be fought in a single day. There are NO Night battles allowed due to weather.

I got too close to a rubbled building that had a remnant squad in it. I thought he would be machine-gunned to panic or pin but my buttoned T-70 was slow to engage. In other words I broke my own rule about not getting closer than 30 m to buildings or woods containing infantry.

Ah, what a drag. Your infantry losses were light though.
