Hey Rebel, how did the D-Day museum hold up from Katrina... I've been wanting to see it, but the timing wasn't good.... but I just learned the Army owes me 23 free days of leave... PDRMA... Woo Hoo... Life is just flat out awesome with that news... I hadn't planned to take much time off, but I calculated my "extra" leave and now I just might swing through Houston to San Jacinto... then over to New Orleans to check that one out before I head off to Arizona and my next assignment...

WILCO Randy... I've been thinking of a monster tour... The Army owes me 23 days free leave... throw in some of my own and I a nice long break... I've been thinking a swing to Fredricksburg Texas to War In Pacific Museum... then maybe San Jancinto... and then D-Day... and maybe points east.... Or, we were talking about beach today as we were walking to lunch in the 110 heat... I have a hankering to go up the northern California coast into Oregon at a relaxing pace... I did it many years ago.. and I'm feeling the urge again... not sure the seasonal timing is right for that one though...
