Russians ONLY "Little Saturn" No Germas Pls

RE: Russians ONLY "Little Saturn" No Germas Pls
Well, in my upcoming battle, I don't see the enemy leaving their warm foxholes and since I will be in a more defensive role, I feel my Arty spotter would be better placed with Willow's units. I have a 76mm arty FO - perfect for a smoke screen ... ?

That's fine, if there is no action your front Ratzi can create a parallel battle for you.

Hi Ratzki;

I know the deadline was yesterday for our movement plots. If its not too late though, I just wanted to clarify the centre orders. There was some back-and-forth between herroberst and me, and we ultimately decided I would press on due west through the town centre, bypassing the factory complex. I had some MGs and ATRs screening the east edge of the map. Can I leave those there, just to serve as pickets in case the Germans attempt to send some mobile forces south and/or east?

Let me know if you need a map for clarification. It won't be until this evening though...Real Life beckons :(

Willow out.

A map is always nice to have. Just send me a quick map, I think that I know what is going on, but you can never be too sure. Thanks

Hi Ratzki;

My MS Paint program is telling me I don't have enough memory to run it! That's not possible, but I can't find the reason or cure in Microsoft's help, so can't do the map. I even tried a new program called AvancePaint, which looked very promising, but I can't get any text to stick on the map. I'm beginning to feel real stupid Fiery

Anyway, I was hoping to have 6 ATR teams and 4 Maxim teams hold to the south east of the factory, spread out with the goal of acting as pickets to spot any mobile forces using that south road. The balance of the Centre TF to proceed due west very cautiously, with my tanks well back from my infantry.

Thanks!

Willow out

Yes, with exception of Combat Wombat (who will go over to defense for time being)all are to continue the advance. We expect to run into heavier German forces including armor but I suspect they may have panicked at Raz's "unexpected" appearance in the north and may be rushing forces to deal with that which should mean the others can advance against limited resistance.

Push on but conserve armor!

Question:

Those ATR and Maxim teams are to do what if they encounter a vastly superior force?

;) yes, that's about it. I just thought it would be handy to know if a massive force was headed south to reinforce the airfield, and maybe take a few guys with them:cheeky:
