Update on MapMods.....:)

"Achtung Achtung!
As I'm sure most of you know by now, my Internet service provider has decided to stop hosting personal webpages, and I was therefore planning to put a closure on MapMod.

However, in a sudden change of events, some very kind people have offered a new shelter for MapMod. So instead of disappearing offline into oblivion, MapMod can now escape to another location and continue its business as usual. :-)

More info soon..."

Great news! Big Grin

Hi guys

We have a saying were I come from -'There are no bad things that doesn't bring a little bit of good with them.' That's true actually, because if there is one thing these problems with my site has showed me, it is that there is alot of very friendly people out there! Big Grin

Anyway, MapMod has a new home:

Foul has updated the link for the new home of Jison's map mod to the What every player on this MB / ladder should know! thread at the top of the forum.

Thank you for doing that Foul.

RE: Heads up about Jison's MapMod page.
Just a little reminder, folks - I nag about this on my site but I know it's missed by some anyway: The mod is meant to be played with the original hexgrid turned off. So if you are still using the grid, try turning it off - it really makes a difference visualwise... ( 'Visualwise' - is that even a word? )

Jison

It is now, you just invented it.

...and thanks again for your generous contribution to the PzC and MC community.

Anybody who hasn't yet seen Jison's work really should take a look, it's a beautiful enhancement to the game.
