RE: Open Team Battle - Round 2
Team Bad Guys, where are you? I'm amazed that with my own lack of playing time of late, a turn's still pending and I can't take it because I played the last one.

Anyone up to take this round?

RE: Open Team Battle - Round 2
Ugh. I have to go to my nephew's football game in 15 minutes, then catch up on some work, then if I'm lucky the kids are going to overnight at their cousins' house and I'll chase the wife around the house like Benny Hill.

You messed up my window here, you devious Brit.

RE: Open Team Battle - Round 2
I'm done chasing the wife around the house (she got away again.) I'll pick up this one...

EDIT: Back to team UK...approaching the bitter end.

RE: Open Team Battle - Round 2
A DRAW!!!

Neither side managed to capture even one objective.

The scores were also very close:

German: 2420
British: 2772

Losses
.............GER...........GB
Men........319.........241
Arty..........-.............3
Soft Veh....-.............1
APC...........5............5
AFV..........14............6
Aircraft.......1............-

Well fought everyone. It was a very close battle throughout.
cheers

I take full responsibility for the failure of the British. My plans were definitely flawed.

At least I didn't bite with the ‘aircraft availability of 10’ Seabolt! That was a tricksy suggestion. I could have quite easily bought tons of AAA. I see you bought almost no AAA and only one aircraft :) . I figured it was probably a ploy, but I did buy 4 SPAAA units just in case. Unfortunately, your solitary aircraft had a flight path over all 4 on what I think was it’s second run.
The two RAF aircraft faired much better, knocking out a few vehicles and providing some valuable intel. run after run. They were both slightly damaged in the last few turns of the battle.

The British password was 'runner', if someone could let us know the German password, as I look forward to downloading a few turns to watch replays and take a look at force disposition.

We also need two volunteers, one from each team, to upload an AAR, which would probably just be a compilation of team communication.
