I'd say that OOBs balance the possibly uneven teams, Germans have probably the poorest mech force of the major countries in the late war.

One solution would be to swap Jadpanther or 2ndLt_Fjun with Seahawk or Gibatar. If not, there's one or two other things that we could do to make the battle more evenly matched, or challenging for the Axis.

We discussed that the teams seemed a little uneven, but as this is really more of an experiment - 2ndLt_Fjun and I weren't too concerned about that. Plus, Vesku's point about the weakness of German Mech units late in the war may show the way to providing some balance.

As we are still finalizing the rules, we will discuss this issue again - if a swap of players is the easiest fix then we will go with that. 2ndLt_Fjun will have to stay in place as he is a Team Leader.

Jad/Seahawk - would either of you have any great heartburn with a team switch?

My ability is even unknown to me Big Grin

No, I am a beginner. Used to play lots offline many moons ago vs the AI, but as with all PC games, human opponents online is a different story.:rolleyes:

2ndLt_Fjun and I are in the final stages of negotiation for the overall rules and any changes to the team rosters. We should have a finished product, shortly - to include any changes to the teams.

Since the 4.0 version is up and running, we'll play under it - as this could potentially last quite a while.

We need to come to a consensus for a slot to play on. Can everyone look at their available slots and post them here? I believe the last OTB game was played on slot 4. We probably need to keep it from slot 0 to 4 - to accomodate DL version only players.

I have slots 3 to 5 open.

What do you guys have in mind for a starting date? We are in the middle of our holiday season over here. I am leaving on 4 January and will only be back on 14 January. During this time I won't have access to a PC as I am going camping. Can't wait, nice sunny weather, babes in bikinis, nice beaches, babes in bikinis, 'braai' (BBQ's in English, babes in bikinis.....and did I mention those babes in their bikinis yet?Big Grin
