Falklands 2010
The British are drilling for oil in Falkland territorial waters.
The Argentinians are upset.
The Argentine government is unpopular, (sound familiar?)
What if they decide to invade while the UK is occupied in Afghanistan?
Plausable idea for a battle.
Does anyone have any WinSP maps of the Falklands? (Other than the ones by "Gallo Rojo")

Hi Gibratar
Funny you mention this. I have my Battle for the South Atlantic Tournament Scenario ready to start with in a week. Its a vintage 1982 tournament though, now a modern day one.

Oh really?
That sounds interesting indeed.
You've been very quiet about this.
Count me in.

Haha, sorry Jason.
Been putting the finishing touches on it. Its a small scale tournament with nothing more than a battalion. Its all infantry and small and fast scale on some cool maps, all made using old maps and google earth, so very realistic (as much as it can be)
I am actually really excited about it. ;)

Hi Wigam,
Did you produce any new maps for that, or did you use the existing ones?

All new maps produced by me. Its part of the fun of running a tournament.

RE: Falklands 2010
Hi Wigam,
Do you have a list of the maps.
I am just making a Mt Pleasant map for a 2010 Arg invasion and assault on the airfield.
If you've already made one it would save me some work.
I have already made a Stanley map.

RE: Falklands 2010
What I have done is break the tournament down into 11 small scenarios based around the separate parts of the Argentine invasion and the subsequent British counter invasion.
So far no map for Mount Pleasant. Mount Pleasant wasn't around in 1982 IIRC. Built in late 1980's.
Argentine Invasion
The road to Stanley
Battle for Government House
Battle of South Georgia
Operation Paraquet
West Falkland's
Raid on Pebble Island
East Falklands
The Battle of Goose Green
Battle for Darwin Hill
Lead up To Stanley
The Battle of Mount Harriet
The Battle of Two Sisters
The Battle of Mount Longdon
The Battle for Port Stanley
The Battle for Wireless Ridge
The Battle for Mount Tumbledown
