Any one watching Pacific where they are ? Its starts here in New Zealand in two weeks and I have been counting down until it starts. The trailers looks awesome and only hype me up even more.

I am also reading the companion book by Hugh AMBROSE. He is the son of the late great Steven AMBROSE (author of Band of Brothers).

The book is great and I definitely recommend it as a read every war buff must read.

I watched the first episode on Sunday night, after a few minutes of background scenes it went right into Guadacanal and had some pretty good action scenes.

It's hard to say if it will be as good as Band of Brothers but it looks promising. You won't be disappointed.

Only a couple of weeks to go, the channel playing it has put on all the Band of Brothers episodes before hand, I have the box set but still watch iit on t.v as well.

My wife asks "don't you already have this?"
I reply "yeah"
She says "why are you watching it again ?"
I reply with a look on my face like what are you talking about and say " its Band of Brothers.....what do you mean why am I watching it....its Band of Brothers !!!!!"

At us in Russia in it to year it is a lot of snow and consequently I often go for a drive on work on skis. :cool:
From these exercises health excellent ! :)

"Band of Brothers" - it is remarkable authentic film, especially on a background of other slipshod products.

I wanted to watch the series but my satellite provider jumped the price of HBO up from $4.50/mth to $13/mth just because of it. Considering that the series will run 10 weeks that works out to about $39, if I spend another $40 I can buy the series.
